So err... I have to say that when I said I wanted to watch Unerolia torture that guy, I had a really different process in mind than what was currently happening in front of me.
"Stand up!! This is not enough yet!! Pick up your sword!!" Unerolia roared, kicking the sword that Off-Worlder dropped towards him.
Yes, it seems like we were completely right in our guess that this guy had transformed himself into a girl to sneak into the slave group.
Apparently Mary had been keeping watch nearby and saw him teleport there as well so she knew who exactly he had transformed into and went ahead to inform Unerolia of this.
She then jumped at the chance of grabbing him and taking him away for this... Err... Torture session.
And by torture session, I meant a sparring match where it was just basically Unerolia beating him again and again with a wooden sword.
The guy actually tried to teleport away at first but Mary somehow always managed to drag him back through her own portal to throw him back into the arena.
And yes, apparently Unerolia had made an arena inside the city to host sparring matches against people she has taken an interest in.
On the bright side, the arena is also used to host events so it wasn’t a complete waste of Creas I suppose...
Unerolia then challenged that Off-Worlder to a match where they will continue to fight until he manages to beat her. Only when he managed to beat her would he be allowed to go free, otherwise he would remain here as a prisoner.
After he gave up trying to run away when his seventh escape attempt failed, he finally picked up the wooden sword to stand against Unerolia.
I’m pretty sure he thought that she was just a weak woman and was worried about hurting her so he tried to hold back in the first match.
But Unerolia had no such reservations as she immediately launched herself towards him and smacked the wooden sword across his face so hard that a tooth came flying out before the poor guy was sent flying.
He spun in the air at least six times before crashing into the wall.
I expected the wall to at least have an imprint of him given how hard he had crashed into it but there wasn’t even a mark on it when he slid off to crash onto the ground.
Unerolia spat on the ground, an action unbefitting one of her station, but obviously no one cared since it was merely just her, myself, Mary and Katsuki around right now.
"Aster! Heal this idiot who didn’t take me seriously!" She shouted.@@@@
Oohh~ A way to farm my Iatromancy proficiency? Sign me right up!
I immediately went ahead to cast [Heal] on that guy, bringing him back to full strength aside from his missing teeth.
Sorry, I’m still not proficient enough for that so you’ll have to deal with it, teehee~
He pushed himself up on an arm and looked around, clearly confused.
"Come and get it if you can."
The Off-Worlder had a look of surprise since he didn’t think she would reject him but he quickly furrowed his brows and charged forward, reaching his hand out to try and grab the weapon.
With a speed that I only managed to see the afterimages of, the Marchioness executed a perfect overhead slash that smashed her wooden sword against the top of that guy’s head.
I saw the Off-Worlder’s eyes roll to the back of his head before he stumbled forward a few steps and stopping.
He stood there for a good two seconds before he finally fell over to his side, unconscious. Experience more content on novelhall.Côm
Unerolia turned to me with a big smile on her face, "Oh Aster~ If you could just heal him again, please?"
Why the sudden change in tone? And you’re really enjoying this I see...
Maybe it’s the fact that the belief that Off-Worlders were practically invincible had been dispelled and she’s currently relishing in the fact that she’s able to beat an Off-Worlder?
Well, whatever, I don’t really care anyway so I just went ahead to cast [Heal] again.
The guy regained consciousness and saw that the wooden sword was now within his reach since Unerolia was now behind him.
He quickly grabbed the sword and leapt to his feet, raising it up in a defensive pose.
I guess he finally got serious huh? He does have tier three proficiency in swords so I’m at least expecting him to be able to match Unerolia a little when it comes to swordfighting.
Unerolia grinned when she saw that and she lifted her own sword as well.
There was a tense moment of silence before Unerolia made the first move.
She leapt forward and lunged towards the Off-Worlder with an overhead slash, a very obvious feint that even I could see through.
The Off-Worlder raised his sword to receive it-- Wait... He’s receiving it?!
As I had thought, Unerolia pulled back on her sword to reveal the feint before stabbing it forward to thrust the tip of the sword to smash against the Off-Worlder’s throat.
He made a rather loud "Geck!" sound before he got sent flying away for the umpteenth time today.
Wait... Doesn’t this guy have tier three in swordsmanship? Why is he so bad at-- Oh...
Don’t tell me that he only got that proficiency because it was given to him from his character creation and he has never actually fought with a sword before ever since he came here so he has literally zero practical experience?
I guess this shows that even with supposedly high proficiency in a skill that you got through a cheat... You still can’t cheat experience huh...
