Chapter 683: It's Not Even An Actual Boss Room
Chapter 683: It's Not Even An Actual Boss Room
We've waited for another hour but the door still remained closed. Just what the heck is behind this door?
Everyone here had already eaten their fill and I'm tired of being awkward around naked and half naked Dungeoneers.
Seriously... Some of them even decided to get a little frisky at the back and I wonder just how they were able to do it after being put in sexual slavery by the succubi for who knows how long?
I'd thought they'd be tired of sex by now but evidently not.
"Screw this stupid thing," I muttered, storming up to the door and kicking on it with my foot.
I wasn't really expecting anything to happen so I was understandably stunned when I saw the door creaked open an inch from my kick.
What the heck?
The sound of the door creaking also got the attention of everyone else and they were starting to gather behind me, wondering whether we could finally proceed.
I went up towards the door and realised I most definitely had not imagined it and it had indeed opened up a crack from my kick.
I then pressed my palms on the door and pushed with all my strength, only to stumble forward when the door wasn't as heavy as I thought it was and it swung open easily.
The door itself swung inwards and smashed into the wall with a loud crash, revealing a dark interior that had a single light source shining from the ceiling to reveal a wooden chair in the centre of the room.
Feeling a little cautious since this sort of drew a parallel with the throne in the previous boss rooms I've been in, I slowly stepped past the doors with my party following right behind me.
Seeing that nothing happened even after I took a few steps in, I turned back to the others who were just looking at us from beyond the threshold.
"You guys coming?"
One of the Dungeoneers gulped, "Are you sure it's safe?"
"Hell no, but I know for sure you aren't going anywhere by staying there either. And unless you intend to fight your way out with your bare fists and no one else to back you up, maybe you should stick with us?"
A few of them quickly ran into the room after me, trailing just a few steps behind while trying to use their hands to cover themselves up.
I used [Spotlight] to create our own light source above us but even that was not enough to illuminate the entire room. It kind of felt like the darkness itself was swallowing up the light somehow and preventing it from reaching further than a few metres away.
We slowly approached the chair in the centre of the room until the light from my [Spotlight] touched the edge of the light shining on the empty chair.
The chair wasn't anything special either, it was just a simple wooden dining chair with no armrests and a back rest high enough to reach my shoulders if I were to sit down on it.
What was-- Wait...
I noticed that there was something at the very edge of the light and I angled my own [Spotlight] to shine towards the object.
I realised the object was actually a length of rope that seemed to have been torn apart and left on the ground. Presumably used to tie up whoever or whatever was seated on this chair before we came in.
That was when I understood that these were the captured Dungeoneers that the demoness must have brought down here to torment as Hiandoca had told me about.
The Dungeoneers then spread out towards the pillars, each of them trying to rescue someone who was being chained to those pillars.
Ignoring what they were doing, I turned my attention to the chair that fell over and I realised that this must be where Tyler was held as well before he was killed off by the demoness.
Poor thing...
I'm guessing his body must have already been absorbed by the Dungeon by now so there's nothing left of him.
Sad way to go, honestly, but I guess there's worse ways for one to meet their end so he could be said to be rather fortunate in a way.
I guess right now we should just concentrate on saving all these people so I directed my Shadow Guards towards the pillars as well to aid the other Dungeoneers in rescuing their friends and comrades.
A lot of them seemed to be quite out of sorts but I guess if they were subjected to that demoness's whims, it wouldn't be a surprise to have their wills and minds broken.
"He... Hey? What are you doing? Wait, stop!"
I heard some shouting coming from one of the pillars and I turned to see a female Mahun scratching and trying to pull herself away from several male Mahuns.
I thought those guys were doing something to her when she screamed, "No! Let me gooooo!! I need more! I need more of his cock!! I need it! I need it!
I neeeeeed it!!!"
"Calm down Jessica!! Get a hold of yourself! What are you talking about?!"
"Him!! His cock!! He fucked me so good with it!! I feel so, so empty without it! I need him! I need him to give it to me!
Get away from me!! Don't stop me! Let me go!!"
I narrowed my eyes and realised that she was staring straight at the overturned chair and trying to claw her way towards it.
Wait... She's talking about Tyler right?
Maybe the demoness forced Tyler to screw her and made use of some other magic to make her addicted to him or something? So now she's suffering from withdrawal because she couldn't get it anymore?
Damn...
I was just about to tell her that Tyler was dead when the chair suddenly went up in flames and burned into ashes, creating a giant flame that was bigger than a human before a shadowy figure emerged from within the flames.
It was male with the body of a Mahun and horns jutting out of his head, deep red skin with tattoos running down his limbs and a cocky grin on his face.
"I've returned, my pretties~" He chuckled.
Who the heck is this?
