Chapter 125: Riding Emperor Woolie
Chapter 125: Riding Emperor Woolie
Woolie: ???
Woolie looked at the human sitting on top of him in confusion. What had just happened? Who was he? Where was he? What was he?
Meanwhile, Raiden was having an entirely different kind of experience. This was the first time he was sitting on top of something so tall, and the view from here, he had to admit, he didn’t hate it.
Neva, who was on top of his head, was having even more fun. She was riding Raiden, who was riding Woolie. So in a way, both of them were her mounts.
✧(≧▽≦)✧
"Woolie Woo Wool!!" What are you doing, human? Get off! The Emperor Woolie is not your mount!!
Seeing Woolie’s fur stand up in anger, Raiden just patted his head with light-heartedness.
"Don’t sweat about the small stuff, Woolie. See, we possibly can’t outrun anyone by ourselves. We are relying on you to take care of us. Only you can do it. You are not going to abandon your little sister and me here to die, are you? I mean, I never knew you were so heartless that you would let me die instead of letting me sit on top of you for a minute. It breaks my heart to see what kind of unfilial Terran I have raised. How sad Ruby must be, for you to turn out such a way. Oh my heart, it can’t take it~" Raiden clutched his heart with his hand, acting like he was about to have a heart attack on the spot.
Hearing all this, Woolie was stunned. Poor Woolie, who was a simple-minded sheep, immediately fell for Raiden’s words and acting, and got fired up.
"Woolie!!!" Who are you calling heartless?! Emperor Woolie will protect you both. Sit tight, human, for I am not responsible if you get blown away.
By now, the rest of the people who came to surround and attack Raiden had regrouped and created a circle to protect themselves. They were unable to do anything but watch as Woolie’s body started flashing with thunder.
His hooves embedded themselves into the earth as the muscles on his legs tightened. He looked forward directly in the direction where he had detected that there were fewer Terrans, before setting off with a bang.
Crack!!
His launch was so powerful that the Earth itself shattered into pieces.
Bang!!
Bang!!
Bang!!!
Woolie was like a wrecking ball, destroying everything that stood in his way. He crashed through trees, Terra Beasts, vines, and everything. Nothing could withstand a hit from him as he left the group of people and terrans behind.
"Woo-hoo!! This feels so great!!!" Raiden threw his hands up in excitement. Woolie was fast. He was the second fastest thing Raiden had ever been on. The fastest was the Dark Phoenix, but it was so big he didn’t feel it properly. Sitting on top of Woolie, it was a different feeling altogether.
"Shaa!!" Go big brother go!! Go even faster!!
Neva cheered on from the top of Raiden’s head, making Woolie fired up.
"Wait, wait, wait!! Don’t go faster. This is fast enough, ok?" Raiden felt the surroundings blur, and his happiness started melting into fear. Too fast, Woolie was going way too fast.
"Woolie!!" ( •̀ ω •́ ) y
Woolie didn’t hear Raiden; he only heard the cheers of his little sister and felt really encouraged. Violet-coloured thunder erupted from his body as he moved even faster and faster, running at 200 meters per second!!
By now, Raiden had to hug Woolie’s body for dear life with both hands. The wind was coming at such a speed that he felt like he might be blown away if he didn’t.
"Stop!! Woolie stop!! We are going in the wrong direction, stop!!!"
"Sha!!" Big brother, even faster!!
Maybe it was the wind, or maybe because Woolie didn’t want to hear him, and he was enjoying himself too much. He kept running deeper and deeper into the wild.
"Damnit, stop, I said!!" Raiden punched Woolie’s head from on top of him, making the sheep slow down a little.
"Woolie Woo?!" Why did you hit me, human!!
Woolie questioned angrily.
"Look at where we are. You didn’t even run in the right direction!!" Raiden exclaimed angrily, making Woolie speechless.
He looked around and immediately found something wrong with the environment.
It felt like they walked out of a normal jungle into a prehistoric one. The trees went over 100 m tall, the bushes were really dense, and everything turned into a very dark green colour.
Even someone as big as Woolie felt like he had walked into a giant’s place.
Normally, a jungle was teeming with sounds, but this one felt virtually silent, unravelling Raiden’s nerves.
He quickly clicked on his watch to open a map. Trying to find the current location and almost fainted after seeing it.
After running for so long, he had reached over 150 km deep into the jungle!! He remembered John’s warning very clearly that he gave in the middle of his third mission when he was chasing a target deeper into the wild.
Flashback Start!
"Raiden, stop!!" John shouted to Raiden, who was about to follow his mission target deeper into the jungle.
"Huh? Why are you stopping me?? We have almost had him!! Just one more attack and he will be down for the count!!" Raiden fired back. He was desperate for Alliance Credits, and he wasn’t about to let that target get away.
"The target doesn’t matter!! Look at where we are right now!!" John spoke with a solemn look on his face.
"Huh?? We are at around 95 km deep in the jungle?" Raiden spoke after checking on his map.
"Exactly!! And do you remember what zone fell under our jurisdiction?"
"The first hundred kms?"
"Yes!! And there is a good reason why!! As you know, the deeper we go into the jungle, the stronger the Terra Beasts get. This 100 km line is a dividing point. Before 100 km, you won’t find any Platinum Terrans. But after you reach 100 km, even the weakest Terra Beast will be a Gold Tier, with plenty of Platinum walking around. Unless you are a very strong Gold Battle Master or higher, never ever go deeper into the jungle, or you will forfeit your life."
"Money can be earned once again, but you only have one single life. We’ll wait here for a few days to see if the target comes out. If it doesn’t, we will withdraw."
Flashback End.
"Damn it, we are so fucked."

Author’s Note: Greetings, my lovely readers. I read these past few Chapters in volume two, and I felt like we are going too fast, leaving behind a lot of plot holes. I am creating a buildup for something, only to see no payoff for it and skipping it entirely. I am really sorry for that. That is something I don’t want to do. So I will be changing the pace of the book and trying to fill up the plot holes I left in the past. This book pace will slow down a lot from before. Thank you for your continued support. You are the best!!
P.S. Do you guys want me to create a Discord server for this book?? Let me know if that is something you want. Cheers~
