Das, unfazed, continued to hold the baby. "First, remove the army camp surrounding my villa and apologize to the Abdullah family patriarch, then I may consider your request." he responded, his voice calm but laced with authority.

The General's expression shifted to one of surprise, taken aback by Das's unflinching demeanor. It was a rare occurrence for anyone to challenge his authority so openly.

"General, didn't we say these local thugs are stubborn? We can control them only by force. Give the command, and we'll have him subdued in under a minute." A soldier from behind the General, unable to contain his frustration, spoke out.

General Singh raised his hand, silencing the soldier. His eyes, however, remained fixed on Das. "Mr. Das, please understand the gravity of the situation. Show some respect for the soldiers who defend this country. This is a matter of national importance.

Das then turned his attention to his girlfriends, inquiring about their activities during his absence. The responses were varied, a blend of personal achievements and mundane updates, but all conveyed a sense of loyalty and dedication to Das.

Cradling the baby, who was now playfully chewing on his cheek, Das continued, "From now onwards, I want all of you to stay inside the palace. My enemies are growing in number and power. They might target those close to me, and I cannot risk your safety."
