Amidst the ritual's fervent flames, Das sat at the center of the platform, his eyes like burning sapphires as he observed the intricate dance of elemental energies. Flames enveloped them, forming a dangerous sphere, while Thea's voice recited ancient scriptures that resonated with power, weaving a delicate tapestry of magic and fate.@@@@

Every moment counted, and as Thea continued her incantations, the elemental energies swirled around them, gradually forming a harmonious equilibrium with the raging fires outside. It was a precarious balance, a tightrope walk on the edge of life and death, for if the equilibrium faltered, Thea's life would be the price.

Eden, a silent guardian of this esoteric spectacle, couldn't bear to look directly at the inferno that surrounded her sister and Das. Every instinct in her screamed to intervene, to protect Thea, but the ritual's nature left her helpless. She could only watch and pray for its success. Read the latest on My Virtual Library Empire

Meanwhile, Das could feel a subtle but undeniable change within himself. As the elemental energy licked at his very being, memories long buried began to resurface. He did not resist the transformation, for it was a homecoming, a return to a familiar presence. Thea's aura coursed through him, and he embraced it, welcoming the soothing sense of her existence.

Thea's voice grew stronger, her hands now extended towards Das, beckoning him to hold them. With utmost care, he followed her instructions. On one hand, he channeled the cool, azure cosmic energy of the Aries clan—a lineage steeped in power and wisdom. On the other hand, he harnessed the fiery, crimson cosmic energy of the Shadow clan, an enigmatic force shrouded in mystery.

As their hands clasped in a firm, interlocked grip, a brilliant fusion occurred. The cosmic energies intertwined, their hues mixing and shifting, creating a mesmerizing display of colors that mirrored the flames that surrounded them. This union was a testament to Das's unwavering commitment to Thea and the intricate layers of destiny that entwined their lives.

The cosmic energies, now imbued with the essence of elemental power, harmoniously merged with Thea's shield, fortifying it with newfound strength. The flames surrounding the ritual platform pulsed with renewed vigour, casting a radiant, otherworldly light throughout the room.

But the next image made her lose her guard. She saw Das holding her body tightly, but there is no life in her body. A glowing sword pierced her heart in that visual. For a second her heart skipped a beat as she couldn't expect to see her own dead body.

In the next instant, a flame cobra pierced the elemental barrier and attacked Thea in a forceful strike. In the nick of the moment, Das used the snow python's cosmic energy to protect her. Thea who is in the dimension of the eclipse timer doesn't even know what danger she is in.

The visual before her changed erasing the moment where Das is hugging her dead body. In the next visual, she saw Das playing with a young teenage girl. She saw a peaceful smile on Das's face while playing with her.

But suddenly the visuals before her started stuttering. The elemental energy beams that are forming the visuals fade out because Das who is in severe pain failed to protect Thea from that fire strike which caused Thea's actual body to fall out of the ritual platform.

Her inner self is stuck in the eclipse timer dimension where time flow is regulated. That's why she couldn't react to the deathly strike of flames.

(You will read more about this at the end of this book. It is a major thing that connects this book with its sequel "Brothel Manager in Cultivation World.)
