Chapter 379 : Take My BLOOD
Chapter 379 : Take My BLOOD
"Grand hall, Abdullah family estate..."
Bella and Latha's eyes went after seeing the red paint scene in the hall. Bella even felt an eerie feeling after seeing Luis who is looking like a slave working in hell. Luis also felt the danger as he recognised Bella, the manager of the Farus family. Finally he understood why Das kept him alive.
"What are you all staring like that? He is the Young master Luis, Specially prepared for our business transaction." Das's voice broke through, puncturing the heavy silence that hung in the grand hall.
"What...?!" It was Sana who first found her voice, a note of horror trapped in the one uttered word. Her eyes scanned Luis, a pitiable figure, his familiar face marred, a grotesque parody of the young master who had walked into this estate with a haughty air just the day before.
She felt a complex swirl of emotions; terror, disbelief, and a sickening realisation of the extent of cruelty that Das could exert for his loved ones..
"Das, who made him like this?" Latha's voice trembled as she sought confirmation, her eyes flitting between Das and the barely recognisable figure of Luis.
But before Das could answer it, Bella interjected as the answer is obvious to her.
"Latha, let's go. Tie that fellow and put him in the car trunk. I don't want to miss your brother's funeral," Bella ordered, her voice carrying a strange concoction of urgency and revulsion as she maneuvered through the horrific space, the urgency breaking through her initial shock as she started commanding.
Without a word, Latha followed the instructions, her movements swift and efficient as she bound Luis's limbs tightly, displaying an ease that spoke of experience. The strength in her arms bore Luis easily, lifting him like a bear hanged at the thread end. The entire hall echoed with a terrible, suffocated silence, the grim actions playing out with a nightmarish clarity.
"Wait... where is the payment? Isn't this a rude way to complete a transaction?" Das interrupted, feigning thoughtfulness, his pose a parody of a thinker amidst the backdrop of brutality and fear.
He projected a visage of calm deliberation, a stark contrast to the atmosphere of violent control and dark transactions that clouded the room, the dark echoes of his brutal handiwork reverberating in the grand hall.
"You will get it tomorrow," Bella shot back, her voice sharp and decisive, slicing the civility that Das was attempting to uphold. Her words carried weight, a promise tinged with threat as she met Das's gaze.
"Sorry, I don't have faith in your words," Das articulated, painting him as a person hardened by the world's treacherous games, an individual who had learnt to navigate through lies and deceit, not easily swayed by mere words.
Bella's expression oscillated between annoyance and desperation as she spoke up, her voice straining to mask her agitation, "So, what do you want me to do? What you asked is a complicated thing. I can't deliver it now.
Give me a day at least." The urgency in her tone echoed in the cavernous room, bouncing off the cold, indifferent walls that stood silent, bearing witness to the tense negotiations unfolding within its confines.
She stood her ground, her features taut with frustration as she attempted to navigate this dangerous conversation, each word a potential minefield, a testament to the precarious balance of power that held them all hostage to their own ambitions and desires.
But Das was far from satisfied, his demonic amusement erupting in a sinister addition to the pledge, pushing Bella to a breaking point of humiliation and desperation,
"Wait... I won't gain anything if you die. Pledge that the Farus family will crumble to a begging state if you fail to honour our deal." His voice echoed with a chilling joy, a perverse pleasure derived from the distress he orchestrated.

A potent cocktail of rage and desperation painted Bella's face a deep crimson as she hastily repeated the amended pledge, a corrosive resentment boiling in her as she turned on her heels, fleeing the horrific scene with speed fuelled by a tempest of emotions, a whirlwind of fury, and anxiety eating at her heels.
As Bella stormed out, Latha threw a parting shot, her voice ringing with fierce anger and resentment,
"Das, take good care of yourself. One will get what he sows." It was a prophetic warning, a harbinger of doom woven with the threads of vengeance and retribution.
"Master, who are all these people? They all look so powerful. Will it be safe for you to handle them like this?" Sana's voice trembled, an uneasy amalgamation of fear and confusion painting her features as she cast a glance filled with concern towards Das.
In response to her, Das stood up and touched the spot where Latha put her dagger. He examined it for a second before replying.
"Far more worse things are going to happen," his voice carrying a gravity that reverberated throughout the room, a somber premonition of the darkness on the horizon, a forewarning of the whirlpool of violence they were being inexorably pulled towards.
"Go and alert your father. Ask him to clear the area around one mile, remove all civilians. Also send away the security of your family. Tonight, a war is coming... ready the surroundings."
Even though Sana couldn't fathom what war is coming, after seeing recent situations she also understood what type of people they are handling.
As Sana turned to carry out the grim orders, Das found himself murmuring, almost to himself, an acknowledgment of the turning tides, the evocation of a dormant hunger stirring deep within,
"I think it's time..."
