Chapter 279 : Surrounded by Girls
In the brightly lit island of the skull organisation, Red Rose, the resolute commander of the renowned Skull Organisation, found herself in an unusual predicament. She is accompanying her new found nervousness, Das, to a dinner hosted by a mutual acquaintance.
When last Eden invited him for a dinner, Viper accompanied him and he went solo. But this time, there is a twist – Das is bringing his girlfriend along. A wave of conflicting emotions washed over Red Rose, for she had discovered a newfound love for Das, but her strict demeanour and nervousness had always kept her feelings locked away.
As they approached the entrance of the elegantly stood central tower of the island, Red Rose's heart raced, her mind is preoccupied with the complexities of her emotions. She had never revealed her vulnerability to anyone, not even to her most trusted agents within the organisation. Yet, the connection she felt with Das is unlike anything she had ever experienced.
Das never showed any affection towards her. There was that one time where she lost her everything to him. That one situation made her to have him in her entire life.
Inside the restaurant, Eden, the enigmatic head of the Skull Organisation, awaited their arrival. Little did Red Rose know that Eden also harboured deep affection for Das, but like her, she struggled to express her feelings. Eden had carefully planned the dinner, hoping that the intimate setting would allow her to steal a moment of Das's attention without revealing her true emotions.
There are no servants inside that room. Eden personally took care of everything. She stood at the entrance and received them with a cheering face.
As the trio sat at the table, Eden started setting the table and serving the appetisers one at a time. Natalia is staring at this scene with wide open mouth. She never expected Eden, the head of the skull organisation is serving food for her.
Red Rose's gaze subtly lingered on Das. Every smile he directed at Natalia felt like a dagger to her heart, though she expertly hid her inner turmoil behind a facade of composure.
Das completely ignored the fact that he is surrounded by the girls which he personally tasted, and started enjoying his food. He really liked food which Eden prepared with more caution and affection. Eden felt satisfied and accomplished after seeing Das devouring every time while praising her skill intermittently.@@@@
Natalia already guessed that somethings is wrong with the behaviour of Eden and Red rose. A woman's intuition is always good at detecting her rivals. But she did not understood how they fell for Das in this short time. After finished starters, Eden personally served the main course. Even though Red rose plate is full of food, her concentration is some where else.
Meanwhile, Natalia observed the interaction with keen insight, her eyes narrowing slightly as she detects the subtle undercurrents of unspoken affectionate glances shared on the dining table.
Even though she already know that Das had several female interest at home, she couldn't take on this onslaught of three powerful ladies plotting for the affection from Das. A sense of inferiority and lowliness occupied her brain. Without saying anything she silently answered brain to fight for her spot.
As the dinner progresses, the conversation becomes light hearted once more, with occasional glimpses exchanged between girls and Das.
In the midst of this intricate emotional dance, a sense of camaraderie begins to form among Serena, Red Rose, and Eden. Though each woman harbours her own affection for Das, they find solace in their shared struggle to navigate personal feelings amidst the responsibilities of their positions in the Shadow Clan and the Skull Organisation.
