After taking his leave from Das, Faruk went directly to his father's room. Inside a sophisticated room, old Abdullah is busily reading some documents with the help of reading glasses. Abdullah gestured for his son to sit opposite him.
"Father Das is inside the palace. He asked me to reconnect the escape paths in the underground." Faruk reported to Abdullah about the conversation between him and Das.
"Ohh...! So, he really found about those secret paths on his first visit. Looks like he is lot more capable than I expected." Old Abdullah commented with a meaningful smile.
"Father, I actually came here for another reason." Faruk said after a small delay.
"What is it? Did he ask for any other requests?" Old Abdullah asked with a curious look.
"Yes father. He asked me to prepare documents related to the black market activities, revenue, and information about all the rich people in this city. He also said he would personally change the inefficient heads of the black-market business." Faruk explained in a worried tone.
"Interesting... What is he planning to do?" Old Abdullah muttered while thinking about Das's request.
"I don't know my father. He did not reveal anything to me. That's why I'm worried that he will mess up the market." Faruk said in a concerned tone.
Abdullah kept on thinking silently without replying to his son Faruk. Even after thinking for a long time, he did not understand the motive behind Das's request.
"Why would he ask for all the rich people's details?" This same question made Abdullah curious about what Das is planning.
"Father, why are you not saying anything? What should I do in this situation?" Faruk asked again in a fretful manner.
"Faruk, first prepare all the details he asked for. Don't forget that he is our Lord now. Serve him wholeheartedly. If he really messed up the market, there is always a way to get things back on track."
"More importantly, Das is not a random teenager. He earned this position with strength. So do whatever he asks without questioning." Old Abdullah spoke with a serious face while instructing his son to do his work.
After hearing his father's declaration, Faruk understood what he should do. He immediately left to prepare the information requested by Das.
