Chapter 192: Young Man, You Need to Have Basic Manners When You’re Out!
When Wang Yun came out of the Japan’s office, Captain Minami didn’t even look at him. He was busy directing operations, looking very serious. Little did he know that the person he was desperately trying to catch had just walked past him and even left a surprise in his pocket.
“Who is this? He looks unfamiliar,” someone said just as Wang Yun was leaving Japan’s office.
In the hallway, he ran into Wu Yaoming and Master Jue Ming. Master Jue Ming had a somber expression, and Wu Yaoming also looked helpless.
They had been watching surveillance videos in a room for an entire day and night. Although they knew Wang Yun would not appear with his real face, Master Jue Ming could recognize Wang Yun by his posture, gait, and the aura he exuded. But clearly, both of them looked frustrated. They had no results at all.
They had even reviewed surveillance footage from hotels, internet cafes, and bathhouses.
Still, it was like a stone sinking into the sea.
After Wang Yun escaped down the mountain, it was as if he had vanished into thin air.
Following his escape route, they still hadn’t found a single clue. This left both of them very frustrated.
As Wu Yaoming was walking, he saw Wang Yun and Little Man ahead. The two looked very young and were glancing around curiously. Even though they were filming a program, there was no guarantee these two weren’t there to gather information. So, Wu Yaoming had instinctively called out. But after doing so, he felt a bit awkward. Wang Yun wouldn’t be in the program observation headquarters. Even if he wore a disguise, he wouldn’t be so brazen.
Little Man immediately recognized Wu Yaoming.
“Captain Wu, Master, this is Captain Wu from China, and next to him is Master Jue Ming. You both look much more handsome than in the videos, and you seem slimmer too.”
Little Man stepped forward enthusiastically.
He was very supportive of China’s team, even though they had been unsuccessful. After all, they were his country’s people. Wu Yaoming heard Little Man’s words and nodded with a slight smile.
A passing staff member casually introduced the two.
Wu Yaoming and Master Jueming nodded upon hearing the introduction and were about to continue walking forward.
Wang Yun, however, stood in place, silently observing them. He could clearly see the bloodshot eyes of Wu Yaoming. This was Wang Yun’s first time seeing Wu Yaoming up close, and he was now in close proximity to these two program Captains.
“Hmm? And who is this?”
“Master Jue Ming, you’ve been up all night. Let’s go back and rest,” Wu Yaoming said, quickly stepping in as he sensed the tension.
Master Jue Ming looked at Wang Yun, squinting his eyes, and let out a cold snort.
“Young man, be mindful of your words when you’re out. Basic manners are essential. This is not your home, and no one will indulge you here,” Jue Ming said.
“Hey, who are you talking to?” Little Man shouted, raising his voice and pulling at his collar after Master Jue Ming finished speaking.
He wouldn’t back down, especially when someone spoke about his master right in front of him.
Wang Yun quickly grabbed Little Man, his expression full of guilt, and stepped forward to hold Master Jue Ming’s arm, looking apologetic.
“Master Jue Ming is right, I spoke without thinking. I apologize. I’ll be more careful in the future, I promise!” Wang Yun said, patting Master Jue Ming’s arm for emphasis.
Master Jue Ming immediately pulled back and shook off Wang Yun’s hand. What he didn’t notice was that, at the moment when Wang Yun’s hand was shaken off, a small black object, like a battery, was flicked onto his neck. His robe, with its folds, conveniently hid the object within.
Wang Yun executed this move silently and discreetly.
Seeing Wang Yun’s apologetic attitude, Master Jue Ming decided not to argue further. He straightened his robe and walked outside with a dignified air. At the same time, he completely forgot why he had stopped in the first place.
He completely dismissed the fleeting feeling he had just moments ago.
It wasn’t until the bomb detonated that he remembered the moment it all happened. If there was a moment Master Jue Ming regretted the most, it was when Wang Yun’s words had distracted him, disturbing his mind.
But that’s a story for later.
“Master, should we check out the other inspection rooms?” Little Man asked excitedly, watching Master Jue Ming’s departing figure.
As long as he could be with Wang Yun, he was up for anything. He always felt an inexplicable attraction to the person beside him. Even without playing games together, it was very interesting.
Wang Yun looked at the fawning Little Man, his eyes filled with a trace of sympathy. This rich kid would probably be screaming in anger if he found out Wang Yun’s true identity.
‘Ah, what a naive rich kid.’
